BRANDON REOCH - Academy Tennis Fitness Trainer

Brandon is a former University of Waterloo tennis player and a former football player who was recruited by several schools in the OUA to play football as well. He was born August 7th 1989 and is a student at Conestoga College where he takes Print Journalism.  He has made it to the provincial semi finals in boys doubles and high schools while at Bluevale Collegiate Institute in Waterloo, Ont. He also won a regional championship while playing football at Bluevale.

With no surprise, his favourite sports are tennis and football.  His favourite tennis player is James Blake and favourite football team is the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL.

Brandon has been around much fitness in the tennis training and football training and uses both to help build strength and increase cardio. The crucial part to this training is not how long his students can run or how many push ups they can do but rather how much they have improved.  Goal setting is what all the training is based around as every week, goals will be accomplished and achieved.

MAGNUSS FORSTMANIS - Academy School Tennis Coach

The newest edition to the team at the Imamovic-Ayer Tennis Academy comes in the form of our school tennis coach, Magnuss Forstmanis . An avid player and fan of tennis he is also a fully certified instructor, who brings a wealth of educational tools to his work.

Magnuss’ career in education began in February 2007 as he began teaching in the school setting.  What he has learned dealing with teenagers in the classroom helps him enormously on court as well.  While he has been progressing through the first few years of his full-time career, he applies much of his new knowledge on the tennis court.  Magnuss  believes  that identifying students' individual needs is the key to success.  Hard work coupled with what  he likes to call ''differentiated learning'' is the key to success. Magnuss has worked at local summer camps and has also done some work in Ayr. It is great to have Magnuss on board.
