INDOOR FALL & WINTER KIDS TENNIS
The following times, dates and location have been reviewed and approved. You are encouraged to register for the program early to reserve a spot! We look forward to seeing you.
"Tennis Stars" (Ages: 5, 6, 7)
The focus of the program is to provide small children with the coordination oriented skills necessary for the sport. Children will learn to rally the ball using forehand & backhand strokes over an 11 meter (18x36 foot) court surface in a game setting. Topics may include: ball controls, forehand, backhand, volley, cardio tennis for kids.
Participation awards/report cards and end of the program competition (e.g., team tennis) are incl. in the program.
Level of play: beginner I, II & intermediate
Equipment: your child does not need to own a racquet. All equipment is provided during the program.
Note: if your child is 4 -4 1/2 years old, he/she may still be eligible to participate.
Day & Times: Saturdays from 1:10 - 2:00 P.M. OR Saturdays from 3:00 - 3:50 P.M.

"Acers" (Ages: 8, 9, 10)
The focus of the program will be on the basic fundamentals of the sport and racquet control. Children will learn to start a point with the serve and play a game over an 11 meter (18x36 foot) sized surface. Topics may include: forehand, backhand, volleys, serving, scoring, doubles and singles play.
Participation awards/report cards and end of the program competition (e.g., team tennis) are incl. in the program.
Level of play: beginner I & beginner II
Equipment: players do not need to own a racquet. All equipment provided by the Academy during the program.
Day & Time: Saturdays from 2:05 - 2:55 P.M.
