Those who wish to participate in Academy programs including individuals, schools and community based clubs and organizations may submit the online registration form below. Please remember that only forms completed in full will be considered and accepted. Upon obtaining your online registration form, allow 48 hours for Academy staff to contact you via e-mail with information on additional forms (e.g., waiver form), payment options, and program fees. The waiver form must be signed and returned by all participants including adults. For participants under the age of 18 parental guardians will sign this form. Instruction on how to submit your waiver form will be e-mailed to you also.

Reminder: No registration needed for racquet stringing. Please phone or e-mail for the service instead.

Service Payment Options:

  • Lesson Card: LC is the most popular payment option by Academy participants. It is based on volume discounts, the more program you purchase the bigger the discount. Lesson Card can be purchased per program and is available for all Academy programs in 5, 10, 15, and 20 lesson installments. Lesson Card fee is paid in full (with no refund option). The Lesson Card is transferable and it can be resold by its owner. Discounts vary based on the program and volume purchase. With a Lesson Card participants can save up to 13%. The Lesson Card is valid for 24 months after its purchase and it can be used during Academy operation (season), namely April 15 until October 15 each year.
  • Discounts: Academy gives 10% discount on all programs to students enrolled in post-secondary institutes, seniors (adults who are 60+ years old), and young children (under 6 years of age). The age and student based discounts can be combined with the Lesson Card. If participants prefer to choose this combination they can save up to 23% on the tennis service.
  • Pay As Go: participants can choose to pay for their lessons each time they take a private lesson only. The service price is usually paid in full at the time of the private lesson. Only senior, student, and small children discounts can be applied to this payment option. Additional service discounts are not available. Pay As Go payment option is not available for group programs put out by the Academy, however the applicable discounts are available on these programs.

Program service fees can be arranged by cheque, cash, or Interac E-mail Money Transfer. Cheques are payable to “Imamovic-Ayer Tennis Academy”. For Pay As Go private lesson customers, payments are due at the time of the lesson. Lesson Card fees can be arranged at or prior to lesson start.

Important Note: Academy payment options and discounts are not applicable to tennis services/programs offered by Academy through other community organizations. Rain policy, refund policy and payment options including fees are put out by these organizations separate from the Academy. An example of this would include group adult lessons (e.g., beginner, intermediate).

Inclement Weather:

  • All lessons will be cancelled due to inclement weather (e.g., rain, strong winds, excessive heat). Please contact Academy’s court cellphone number at 519-722-7592 if uncertain of your lesson status.
  • All private lessons cancelled due to poor weather conditions by coach will be made up. These cancellations will not impact the number of private lesson services purchased on your Lesson Card. Only lessons that you completed will be subtracted from your Lesson Card.

Academy Program Participation Rules and Expectations:

Academy service is based on positive tennis experience for people of all ages and abilities. To help us ensure this positive experience please follow these simple rules:

  1. Speak positively to each other and about one another. Positive encouragement and motivation by other participants was found helpful when performing a task or learning a new skill. So be nice, encourage one another, and have fun!
  2. Look after your belongings but also be aware of others’ belongings. If something is left behind be sure to pick it up and return to the owner or submit it to Academy staff. Follow up on it the next time you are at the lesson.
  3. Listen to the constructive feedback given by your coaches. If you do not understand please always ask what the coach means by it. An explanation on feedback given will help you improve your skills and have more fun. It will also help coaches teach you better and work on clarifying their feedback.
  4. Inform your coach if you need to leave the lesson early or cannot make it to your lesson. You do not need to provide a reason for leaving early or missing a lesson. However, if you need to miss a lesson for whatever reason please give your coach ample time if possible. Note: Juniors cannot leave the lesson early without proper supervision or parental approval.
  5. Dress comfortably for a lesson. Running shoes, shorts, jogging pants, sun block, hat, and a bottle of water are some essential tennis requirements for an enjoyable experience. Reminder: You do not need to own a racquet to participate, one will be provided to you during the lesson.

In order to make an informed decision please read the above before submitting your online registration form. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or submit your inquires by e-mail. We thank you for choosing our/your Academy and hope that you will have a positive experience with us.
